Hey everybody, it’s VeganMoFo 2009!
I’m really excited to actually be able to participate this year. The last two I was jealously reading other blogs. I’m also really nervous because ideally I should write 20 posts during the entire month of October, so I’m going to do the best I can. I hope that mean soybean can help out some too, that way I won’t feel like I’m taking over the blog.
So what can you expect over the course of VeganMoFo III here at meansoybean.com?
I’m gonna share my trick for super easy pizza, some of my own recipes (Thai curry? Apple pancakes? mmmm), a couple of Montreal restaurant reviews and much, much more. Of course, there will be the requisite vegan porn to go with it all. Wish me luck!
Evening update: Here is organic basket #15
Butternut squash, parsnips, red onions, lettuce, pak choy, mizuna, red peppers, rosemary and thyme.

I made a pretty tasty pasta sauce, using the red peppers and red onions as a base. Watch out for the recipes and pics on Monday!
Actually, this weekend will be pretty busy. I committed to participating in a fundraiser bake sale at the office on Tuesday. And another one at the end of the month. And a pot luck. I think I may have gone a little overboard, but… The office vegan’s gotta represent and show em how it’s done, yo.
Looking forward to it.
Happy Mofo’ing.
:)
Yay! I can’t wait to see what you do for MoFo.
