This is a dinner staple; good for after soul-sucking days at the office. Admittedly, I should eat a salad with it but most time I don’t.
I’ve got a decent, cheap, vegan potato & onion pierogi source; the yellow No Name brand at Loblaws. At $2.50 for a package of 30, what’s not to like? Cooking them up is just a simple boiling-water operation. Fry up a bit of onion, and (moderately pricey) Yves Bavarian sausages and you’re good to go. I like to dab just a bit of Earth Balance on all of it with a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
